As we step out of March, I’m reminded of the incredible power we hold—not just as individuals, but as a collective. We have a unique opportunity to empower each other to follow our passions, embrace challenges, and shape the reality we want to see.

We often hear the phrase, our thoughts become reality. This isn’t just an idea—it’s something we experience every day. When we believe in our vision, uplift those around us, and approach challenges with confidence, we turn possibilities into achievements.

One thing I’ve realized is how much my time with Davey Leadership is rubbing off on me. It has shaped the way I engage with all of you, and it’s helping me pass that same energy and inspiration along to our members. Our board reflects this spirit. We don’t just meet to discuss business—we challenge, support, and push each other to grow. We encourage new ideas, explore what’s possible, and ensure every voice is heard.

We recently held our first-ever Meet and Greet happy hour, and it was nothing short of amazing! The energy in the room was uplifting, filled with laughter and genuine conversations as new members connected with our seasoned ones. A huge thank you to Jackie Marsey and Scooter Wren for making this event such a success. Your efforts created an atmosphere where real connections are sure to happen.

This is just the beginning. We have more opportunities to connect, including our April Dinner Meeting on April 17, 2025. Let’s keep the momentum going! I encourage each of you to reach out to someone new this month—whether it’s welcoming a new member, collaborating on an idea, or simply checking in. The more we engage, the stronger we become.

Together, we’re not just part of an organization—we’re shaping a community that thrives on shared passion and purpose. Here’s to another month of growth, collaboration, and making things happen!

Updates and upcoming events

As I mentioned above, we held our first-ever ‘Meet and Greet’ happy hour, and it was nothing short of amazing! The energy in the room was uplifting, filled with laughter and genuine conversations as new members connected with our seasoned ones. It was a reminder of the strong community we’re building—one where relationships grow, ideas flow, and we all support each other. Looking forward to many more events like this!  Two new members attended.  Adrian Hodges, Green Building Products; Adam Suval, Great Green Gardens and Derek Swetfeld, Student Member.
