This month, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my journey. Twenty years ago, I started with Davey Tree, not realizing just how much this industry would shape me. Like the trees we care for, my own growth has been strengthened by the relationships I’ve built and the challenges I’ve faced along the way.

I began as an office manager in an RC office and eventually grew into a Business Development role, collaborating with and learning from incredible mentors across the country. Through this journey, I’ve come to truly appreciate the power of teamwork, mentorship, and community—values that I’m excited to bring to CLCA.

One of my greatest privileges has been my involvement with the CLCA SFBA Chapter. More than a network, it’s a family. Through CLCA, I’ve connected with passionate professionals working to elevate our industry and create thriving landscapes.

I’ve seen firsthand how CLCA fosters innovation, supports education, and unites us. Organizing events like the Topgolf tournament and educational meetings has reinforced the power of learning, growth, and celebration.

As Chapter President, I’m honored to serve and excited to strengthen our chapter, support members, and inspire the next generation of professionals. Just as trees need strong roots, we thrive in a supportive community. I’m grateful for my roots in Davey Tree and the CLCA SFBA Chapter, which continue to help me grow.
